Questions
Before you ship.
How long does mail-in gaming PC repair take?
Diagnosis within 1–2 business days of arrival. Most repairs ship back within 3–5 business days after you approve the estimate. If a part like a GPU or motherboard has to be ordered, we tell you the timeline before you approve. Need it faster? Select expedited service on the form.
Should I take the graphics card out before shipping?
If it's a large card and you're comfortable removing it, yes: ship it in an anti-static bag in the same box. If not, leave it installed and pack foam underneath so it can't flex. Either way, tell us on your ticket.
Can you work on custom builds?
Yes. Custom builds and prebuilts from every major brand. If you built it yourself and it won't POST, that's one of the most common jobs we see.
Who pays for shipping?
You cover shipping to us. Return shipping is a flat insured rate that appears on your estimate, so you see the exact number before approving anything. Local pickup at our Blue Springs shop is free.
Is the $60 diagnostic applied to the repair?
No. The diagnostic covers testing and a written estimate that is yours to keep. If you approve the repair, the estimated price is what you pay. If you decline, the diagnostic and return shipping are the only charges.
What if it's not worth fixing?
We'll tell you. If the repair cost isn't justified by the value of the machine, the estimate says so, and you decide. You pay only the diagnostic and return shipping.
What if my PC is damaged in shipping?
Inbound, your carrier's insurance covers it, which is why we recommend insuring it for full value. Outbound, every PC ships insured to its declared value with signature required, and we handle the claim. Report any issue within 48 hours of delivery and keep the packaging.
