Phoenix from KC Computer Staff was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job diagnosing the issue our son was having with his PS5 and our internet. Apparently, the ATT tech failed to notice that his PS5 was set on a different hertz from the rest of our house. Which was causing him to have very low speeds with his gaming. A previous ATT tech had set up an alternate hertz (2.4) instead of (5) for our internet for whatever reason. Not being tech-savy, we were unaware of this. Having just  moved in January, we went from Google Fiber to ATT Fiber. Not particularly happy with this. But as soon as we get Google Fiber for our neighborhood, we will be switching back. As I said, Phoenix did a great job explaining what the issue was and how he found it. KC Computer Staff is an excellent computer and gaming system repair store.

Got water damage on my MacBook Pro guys did a great job of assembling it and telling me exactly what happened and what was wrong with it and replace the logic board at a competitive price ran into a hiccup with the delivery date due to a faulty board being shipped to them, but they were great and if I have any other problems, I’ll be reaching out to them

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had lost the audio on my laptop, so I took it to KC Computer to diagnose and fix the problem. They discovered that my audio drivers were missing. They repaired the problem and replaced my hard drive which was showing signs of wear. I got my laptop back in two days and it has worked great since.  The guys at the shop were courteous and informed. Called into KC Computer Tuesday afternoon and by Wednesday afternoon they had diagnosed the issue (overheating) and fixed the issue (cleaned out and reapplied thermal paste). Financing, answered.

Does checking my options affect my credit?

Checking your eligibility with Affirm doesn't affect your credit score. Klarna's Pay in 4 may run a soft check, which also doesn't affect your score. If you accept a monthly loan, the lender may report it to the credit bureaus.

Do you charge more if I finance?

No. Your total is exactly what you'd pay by card. We don't add a fee for financing.

How do I get the financing link?

Reply FINANCE to the text with your estimate, ask at the counter, or call (816) 708-8822. We text you a secure Stripe link for your exact total, good for 24 hours.

Can I finance a custom gaming PC?

Yes. Parts and the build are one total, so you can finance the whole PC. We order parts once the plan is approved and the build starts right away.

What can't be financed?

The diagnostic fee and anything under $50. Those are small enough to pay by card at the counter.

What if I'm not approved?

You can pay by card as usual, or we can split the work: the essential repair now and the upgrades later.

Who do I make payments to?

Affirm or Klarna, through their app. Questions about your plan go to them. Questions about your repair or build come to us.

Can I pay it off early?

Yes. Neither Affirm nor Klarna charges a fee for paying early.

Payment options through Affirm are subject to an eligibility check, may not be available everywhere, and are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. Rates from 0–36% APR. Klarna's Pay in 4: no interest or fees when paid on time; other Klarna plans are subject to approval and terms. Options depend on purchase amount. KC Computer Staff is not a lender.
