It depends on the panel. A basic 15-inch screen and a 4K touchscreen are very different parts. After the $60 diagnostic you get a written quote with the exact price for your model, and nothing is ordered until you approve it.

For a while, but cracks spread, and pressure on the glass can take out the backlight. Back up your files now. If the laptop works with an external monitor, you can keep working until the repair.
Not always. Connect the laptop to a TV or monitor with HDMI. If you see a picture there, the screen, cable or backlight is the problem. If you don’t, it’s something deeper. Our laptop won’t turn on page covers that.
